Throughout the year, The Arrow Fund hosts DNA guessing challenges featuring our Hero Dogs. Each challenge gives you the opportunity to study the featured dog, submit your best breed mix prediction, and see how closely your guess matches the official DNA results.
Every $5 guess supports The Arrow Fund’s Medical Fund, helping our animal abuse organization rescue, treat, and rehabilitate the next animal in crisis.
Meet The Arrow Fund’s Official Hero Dogs of the Year
We have sent this Hero Dog’s DNA test to the laboratory, and the official results will be arriving soon. Before the mystery is revealed, submit your best breed theory for a chance to see how closely you can guess the mix.
$5 Per Guess
Every guess is a $5 donation to The Arrow Fund’s Medical Fund. Your participation helps provide veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and compassionate care for animals who have survived severe abuse or neglect.
MEET EVIE
Evie’s story began in unimaginable conditions. She was found emaciated, covered in sores and barely clinging to life after enduring prolonged neglect and abuse. With urgent medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe place to heal, Evie began an incredible transformation.
Today, Evie is happy, playful, affectionate, and full of life. She loves people, other dogs, and her toys. We can’t wait to see what her DNA reveals!
1. STUDY OUR HERO DOG
Take a close look at the photos, appearance, personality, size, and other distinctive features of the pet.
2. CHOOSE YOUR BREEDS
Submit the breeds you believe are part of the DNA mix.
3. DONATE $5 PER GUESS
Each official entry is just $5. You may submit multiple guesses to increase your chances and provide more support for animals in need.
4. WATCH FOR THE REVEAL
Once the official DNA results arrive, the Arrow Fund will reveal the breed mix and announce the challenge results.
