THREE-MONTH-OLD PUPPY SHOT IN THE LEG! Zena was picked up by a rural animal shelter who reached out for help! She has a 3 to 4-day old infected gunshot wound on her front leg which fractured the bone. Her veterinary team’s major concerns right now are infection and if the fracture (which is located by her growth plate) is repairable. Amputation may be the only option. With all the pain she has suffered, this sweet puppy is wagging her tail and giving kisses.
