We know so many of our supporters have been waiting for an update on the dogs from our massive hoarding case. Instead of giving one big update, we decided they deserve something they’ve gone far too long without: their own spotlight.
For so long, they were simply known as the 250.
But while that may be where their story began, they have names now. They have personalities. They have people who love them. And each one has a story worth telling.
💜 This is Snoop’s story.
When 2-year-old Snoop came into The Arrow Fund, we thought his road to recovery might be a little easier than some of the others. He didn’t have the severe skin issues we were seeing. He didn’t appear quite as shut down. On the outside, this adorable boy seemed to have escaped some of the worst effects of the neglect.
Unfortunately, his body was hiding something we couldn’t see.
Snoop is heartworm positive.
Heartworm disease is especially heartbreaking because it is preventable. A simple monthly preventative could have protected him, but basic care was something Snoop and so many of the others went without.
That changes now.
Snoop isn’t one of 250 anymore. He’s Snoop. And his life is every bit as valuable as any dog who came before him.
Now we need your help giving him the healthy future he deserves.
Heartworm treatment is expensive, but for Snoop, it isn’t optional. His life depends on it.
