Mani

Mani was found by a good Samaritan underneath his porch – it is unclear how long he had been there but he was unable to stand or walk when he came into our care. Upon examination it was clear that Mani had suffered a traumatic injury to his hind end and back legs. X-rays were taken and his femur was broken into three pieces on the right leg, his hip was dislocated on the left hind leg, and both sides of his pelvis were fractured. He was rushed into surgery as timing was critical since we did not know when these injuries occurred. He had to have three bone plates and sixteen screws to realign his broken bones.
