LunaRoo’s Story
Gender: Female

Meet ADOPTABLE LunaRoo! Once a hurting pup suffering from painful neglect, this beautiful girl was finally rescued and brought to LMAS in October. Animal advocates reached out to TAF in hopes that her new life of healing and love could begin. We said YES, we would help her, and she underwent corrective surgery for a painful, prolapsed uterus.
This 1-year-old, with one inquisitive ear, has now healed under the love and kindness of an amazing Arrow Fund foster, Katie M., and is ready to meet her adopter!
LunaRoo has truly blossomed into a happy, hopeful pup! Here are some of the wonderful things her foster Katie had to say about this good girl:
• Super dog-friendly: LunaRoo absolutely adores making new dog friends! She loves to play, happily matching her buddies’ energy!
• Can entertain herself: She’s a social butterfly, but is also perfectly happy keeping herself company!
• Toy lover extraordinaire: Toys motivate her and make training time a breeze (and lots of fun for everyone involved).
• Smart cookie: LunaRoo already knows “sit,” “down,” “paw,” and “go to bed.” She’s eager to learn and loves showing off her skills!
• Housebroken star: She’s only had one accident during her whole healing process (understandable!), and uses the doggy door like a pro!
• Kennel trained: With a little treat, LunaRoo trots right into her kennel to settle in.
• Gentle with cats: LunaRoo is sweet and respectful with her feline friends, making her a safe buddy for creatures big and small (see the super sweet pic of her with an at-risk kitten foster)!
• Great with kids: Her loving, gentle spirit makes her a wonderful companion for children!
LunaRoo’s journey of healing truly embodies the TAF mission: with medical intervention and loving foster care, an animal victim’s life of pain and neglect can be truly transformed into a life of recovery and hope. LunaRoo is ready to fill her forever home with love, laughter, and lots of tail wags!
