Froggy

This sweet guy is a bully mix who has suffered severe neglect and was in urgent need of longer-term medical care and compassion while he heals.
A no-kill shelter contacted animal advocates with the recognition that Froggy was in pain, displaying clear signs of neglect. The Arrow Fund was called for help, and we immediately rushed him to our medical partners at Dogwood Veterinary Clinic for evaluation and treatment.
The discomfort he’s suffered and current conditions indicate multiple health issues caused by prolonged neglect, including: a painful, swollen tail; alopecia (hair loss) most likely caused by reactions to his diet and environment; badly cropped ears that made him more vulnerable to the ear infections he is suffering with; and a painful bladder infection.
Froggy is now being treated with antibiotics, ear drops, pain meds for his stiff, swollen tail, and a new, low-allergenic diet to ease his body’s skin condition. This gentle boy is now in the loving care of an Arrow Fund foster, and we are committed to providing him with the medical care, comfort, and compassion he has so desperately needed.
