Homeless kitten dragging a broken leg and crushed tail full of maggots was rescued by a kind-hearted soul who took the severely injured kitten to a vet and reached out to The Arrow Fund for any help.
We said YES to helping this poor kitten who was in excruciating pain, and had her evaluated at Dogwood Vet Clinic. Dr. Chris said the leg break injury was about three weeks old and that she had most likely been hit by a car.
Her tail was crushed about a week ago perhaps because she could not move out of the way, and both injuries were so severe that the limb and tail could not be saved.
