Talulah was surrendered J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter and they did not have the resources to help her, so The Arrow Fund took her under our wing. Only 12 weeks old, Talulah was suffering from severe demodectic mange – she barely had any fur remaining on her body. In addition, Talulah had extreme internal parasites and had become anemic. Criminal charges are being pursued for Talulah’s original owner, but in the meantime Talulah is now safe and recovering well!
Age: 12 weeks on intake
Breed: Hound Mix
The Arrow Fund’s Talulah reached out and wanted to give everyone an update on what life is like since her adoption. Parents Tim and Jessica are so proud of their little girl!!! Here is what Talulah is up to today:
‘Life is pretty good here. Dad and I clown around a lot, and if I’m lucky, he’ll give me an extra-special treat. I really love that stuff they call cheese, and those round, yellow, hard candies he calls Lemonheads. Mom says not to give me those, but we don’t always let her know when I get one.
I like to chase the kitty called Simon. I don’t think he minds, as he usually runs under the dining table and then stops, and lets me sniff him. He and I get to share the Pupperoni treats. He likes them as much as me! Well, really, he won’t leave mom alone until she gives him a piece. There’s a small kitty named Karly, but she runs away from me. Of course, there’s one more. Isis. I don’t get to sleep with mom and dad at night because of Isis. Mom says that she’s old and cranky, and could probably beat me up. Sometimes I go and see her, which means I get on the bed and if I don’t get too close to her then she leaves me alone.
But that’s okay. I have my own room, and lest anyone worry about me having to stay in crate when my parents go to work, or when it’s bedtime, there’s a big tv that I get to watch cartoons on, and a whole bed I get all to myself.
The rest of the time, it’s an easy life here. I like to help out in the yard, and go for walks. After running around, I like to lie outside in the sun, or nap on the couch. I go to puppy class, where I’ve learned lots of stuff like Stay, Lay Down, Sit, Wait, Leave It and Drop It. I’m pretty good at all of them, except for Drop It. I like chewing on stuff. Okay, that is a lie. I love chewing on everything!!!!
I’ll always be grateful to my Arrow Fund Family for rescuing me, and for finding me the best home!
Thank you for supporting me!’

THE ARROW FUND STEPS UP !
This baby was at J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter and they did not have the resources to help her . Their option was euthanasia if we could not help. This baby was suffering. Her body is as bad as her face…. So The Arrow Fund stepped up and she is on the way to Blue Pearl. We will need a foster home that is in the Louisville Area when she leaves the hospital. We have not named her yet. They said she was super sweet ! Look at that face …
DONATIONS are needed and any amount would be appreciated . If you can, please go to www.thearrowfund.org – checks can be mailed to The Arrow Fund P.O. 1127 Prospect, Kentucky 40059 – To continue at the rate the cases are coming – we need all the help we can get. Thanks to you all that support us so that we can help these “Forgotten Angels ” of severe torture, abuse , and neglect. We could not do what we do without “YOU” !
