These sweet black labs mix puppies came to The Arrow Fund after being found abandoned in a home without access to food and water for two weeks. After a stay in the veterinary ICU and much love and care in their foster homes, Piper and Phoebe are learning how to do what they were always meant to do: just be puppies.
Both Phoebe and Piper love the outdoors. Phoebe loves to be chased or go on long walks. Phoebe also has a thirst for adventure and likes to go on outings with her person. However, her favorite thing is to cuddle up and enjoy a nice long belly rub with you. She’s the perfect dog to come home to after a hard day at work, as she will make even the hardest day better.
hoebe are a little nervous in new situations and look to their people for reassurance. Once they learn a situation is safe, they are outgoing and excited to explore. Both become more and more confident as they investigate the world around them. Ideal families for Phoebe and Piper are those who will offer them loving and patient reassurance when it is needed.
Phoebe would be a great family dog. She is very gentle with kids, including babies. She needs an active family who will take her on walks, embrace her playful and loving spirit, and support her in getting more confident with new situations. Both are looking for homes where they can continue to just be puppies and grow up with consistency, reassurance, and love.
