Update – Levi
Levi came to us with a front foot that was malformed . After consulting with the surgeons at BluePearl Veterinary Partners , it was decided to leave his foot as is . He gets around great with it , as it is . Levi did have low platelets that have improved and he has gained some weight . He now is about 10 pounds and is about as cute as he can be ! We want to thank Jessica for applying to foster for us . Levi will soon be leaving the hospital to be spoiled by his new foster Mama . He will soon receive his shots , microchip , and he will be neutered in the next few weeks . This boy is just precious and will be a wonderful edition to a loving family !
Donations to The Arrow Fund are needed and always appreciated . Please go to our website at www.thearrowfund.org and checks may be sent to The Arrow Fund P.O. Box 1127 Prospect , Kentucky 40059 .
Foster and Adoption applications can be found on our website as well !
Thanks everyone for your support . We appreciate you all !
NEW CASE – THE ARROW FUND
Terrier mix with deformed leg
An Arrow Fund supporter recently found four young, abandoned dogs on her property. All dogs are covered with ticks, and one of the dogs is having a severe deformity of his leg (see pictures below). The deformity keeps this dog from being able to use his leg correctly. In fact, he is using the bone (pointing toward the bottom) instead of his paw to walk on at this time.
The young dog, who is being named Levi, will be on his way to Blue Pearl later today, where he will be evaluated and treated.
