Who doesn’t love puppy kisses. Asher is doing well in his foster home and has started getting physical therapy weekly to aide in his recovery. He is a sweet snuggle buddy and loves to follow his human foster sister around.
Asher isn’t quite ready for adoption yet, but we are quite sure that when he is ready he will have plenty of people lining up for puppy kisses and snuggles.

Update – Asher
2 severe fractures and foreign objects in his belly !
This 10 pound 3 month old baby came to The Arrow Fund after being found in Carter County , Ky . He was laying on the ground in pain and was then taken to animal control where no medical care was made available to him . He needed help ! We , with the help of his transporter Kim , rushed him to Blue Pearl .
Two surgeries were done today simultaneously. Foreign objects – a rock , a toy , and two twigs were taken from this baby’s belly . Asher also had two severe fractures very high in his back leg . We originally thought it needed to be amputated. But after further testing , Dr. Josh Bruce decided performing an FHO would take care of these fractures . Asher is also being treated for a bacterial infection on his skin and an ear infection.
Our thanks to his foster Betsy Hay who will take this sweet boy when he is able to be released from the hospital .
The Arrow Fund has a new baby in transport now!
This boy was found in Carter County, KY., just laying alone and hurt. He was then taken to the animal control in Rowan County, KY. He is in pain :'( Our thanks to Kim Burton for transporting him – it is a 3 hour drive one way. He is on his way to Blue Pearl.
We are naming this baby Asher, which is Hebrew for “Happy and Blessed.” We have been told he is approximately 3 months old.
