Update – Baby Jay
Baby Jay is out of the hospital and back in his foster home ! We will never know what caused the sudden onset of intense pain .
Baby Jay spent 4 days in intensive care at Blue Pearl and many tests were run . Tests came back Negative. Thoughts are that it could have been a virus that quickly ran the course .
Baby Jay is still being monitored closely with his fosters Cheryl Noggle and Rick Jervis . He is so happy to be back home . This boy is a real teddy bear ! He just loves to snuggle and play with his stuffed animals . He is a gentle and loving baby .
BABY JAY IS CRITICAL AND IN ICU
We just rushed Baby Jay to Blue Pearl .
We just did an update yesterday and were pleased with his progress but he suddenly started crying if he was touched .
We are unsure what is going on – he is anemic and may require a blood transfusion tonight . He is on pain meds and fluids . It is possible a CT scan may be needed with a spinal tap . Please keep our darling boy close to your heart tonight . This is such a surprise and we are very worried…
Update – Baby Jay
This cuddly English Coonhound who came to us emaciated and with a horrid leg injury is recovering in his foster home. We feel fairly confident that he will be able to keep his leg ! Baby Jay is doing better each day but is still recovering . He just wants to be close and cuddle . He is adorable!
Baby Jay ,once neutered and healed , will be up for adoption.

New Case – Baby Jay
Baby Jay is a 3 to 4 month old English Hound pup that is emaciated and has a substantial leg injury . Most shelters do not have a budget to help incoming severely injured animals . This shelter was another example of that , so basically Baby Jay was not getting the treatment he needed. But the shelter staff pleaded for help . Well – The Arrow Fund stepped up again . We feel honored every time we can say yes .
Baby Jay was taken to Elk Creek Animal Hospital to be evaluated. Thanks to Tabitha Pickens for transporting.
